How it all started?
An innovative and entrepreneurial British Doctor, specializing in Dermalogy Dr. A. T. Sharif, developed the original Dermakind formula in the early 1990's. When working at his clinic, he would routinely make up a moisturising lotion for patients with Dry and sensitive skin condition whom up to that point were unable to find a suitable product for their skin in the market.
After successfully treating hundreds of patients, he set up a small laboratory to develop the products. Dr. A.T.Sharif, formulated a skin care preparation as close as possible in chemical constitution to skin sebum - a preparation which would penetrate rapidly, would remain compatible and stable in the skin, would restore moisture, hold it, protect the skin, and leave the surface ten minutes after application with a supple matt finish. Dermakind is currently available as a skin cream in various formulas, as well as a moisturizing Body Wash, Bath Oil, Shampoo, after shave for men and waxing lotion for women.
The Dermakind range is produced in the EEC at an accredited ISO 9001.2000 production facility which has the highest quality management systems in place to ensure that the quality of all our Dermakind products are produced to the same exacting formulas and high standards each and every time.
